Character counts, with and without spaces

Shown both ways because platform limits are inconsistent about which one they mean — a tweet, a meta description, or a form field's character limit is usually specified in a way that either includes or excludes spaces, and getting it wrong means text that looks fine here gets truncated or rejected elsewhere. Common reference points: X/Twitter posts around 280 characters, meta descriptions typically truncated around 150–160 characters, SMS messages at 160 characters per segment.

Reading time

Estimated using an average adult silent reading speed of roughly 200–250 words per minute — useful for gauging how long a blog post, script or speech will actually take, rather than guessing from word count alone.

Keyword density

Shows which words appear most often as a percentage of the total — useful for spotting unintentional overuse of a word or phrase in a draft, and relevant for SEO writing where keyword repetition needs to look natural rather than stuffed.
