Online Color Picker

A visual colour picker built around a saturation/brightness square and a hue slider — pick a colour by eye rather than typing numbers, and read off HEX, RGB and HSL codes immediately, with tints, shades and a suggested matching palette generated from the same base hue.

The hue slider moves around the colour wheel; the square underneath controls saturation (how vivid vs grey) and brightness (how light vs dark) for whichever hue is selected. This is the natural way to explore a colour when you have a rough idea in mind but not an exact code — dragging until it looks right, rather than guessing hex values.

Tints, shades and harmony

Tints lighten the chosen colour toward white; shades darken it toward black — both useful for building a consistent set of related colours for hover states, borders or backgrounds without picking each one separately. The harmony strip suggests complementary (opposite on the wheel), analogous (neighbouring hues) and triadic (three evenly spaced hues) partners — the standard colour-theory relationships designers use to build a palette that doesn't clash.
