Colour-coded digital sticky notes that save themselves as you type — no save button, nothing to remember to click, just start typing and it is already persisted. Each note can be recoloured with a click, which turns colour into a quick visual sorting system: one colour for urgent items, another for ideas, another for reference, however you want to split it.
Search across everything
The search box filters across every note simultaneously, matching on content rather than requiring you to remember which note something was written in — useful once the board has accumulated more notes than fit comfortably on screen at once.
Where the notes live, and moving them elsewhere
Notes are saved in this browser's local storage, tied to this device and this browser specifically — they do not sync to another computer or another browser on the same machine, and clearing browsing data removes them. Copy all puts the full contents of every note onto the clipboard in one action, which is the way to move everything to another device: copy here, paste there.
